I love Japanese fashion magazine Zipper, which I first picked up on my trip to Japan in 2006. It’s insanely expensive outside of Japan, so I only buy it very rarely. Luckily, there’s always so much inspiration inside it keeps me going for years. I love the crazy outfits, the awesome page design, the typography and the street snaps. I don’t like how badly it makes me want to go back to Japan.

Lilmag is like Pushpin’s Japanese sister - a zine distro based in Tokyo. Lots of cool zines on offer including US travel zines, feminist stuff and lots of Japanese zines and manga. Yakk looks particularly interesting.
